Thirty-plus years running, Castelcivita's porcini festival turns the alleys around its famous caves into a wandering menu of mushroom risotto, spezzatino, fried porcini, and — a distinctly local touch — chickpeas cooked with porcini and toasted bread. Officially recognised as a "Sagra Tipica della Campania", and it earns the title.
