41st edition of one of Mantua's longest-running food festivals, at the Area Feste Platana beside the Mincio river's protected wetlands. Luccio alla Rivaltese — pike prepared 'in salsa' or 'in bianco' — is an officially recognized regional De.Co. product, a status the Pro Loco itself campaigned for. The full menu spans freshwater fish from bigoli with sardines to eel, fried gudgeon, and mixed fried fish.
