A cured-ham festival at Parco Colle Celeste, in the birthplace of composer Gaspare Spontini — a whimsical program built around a ham parade with marching band and majorettes, the lighting of a 'Fontana di Vino' (wine fountain), and the raising of an 'Albero del Prosciutto' (ham tree), alongside a kids' area nicknamed 'Prosciuttolandia.' The signature dish is crescia di polenta with ham and herbs; the town is also the sole producer of lonzetta di fico, a fig-wrapped cured meat found nowhere else.
