Filiano's second September gathering, held right alongside the town's much older and better-known Sagra del Pecorino di Filiano DOP — this one turns toward Olio Vulture DOP, awarded protected status in 2012 from an olive-growing tradition local archives trace back to antiquity in the hills around Monte Vulture. A smaller, quieter counterpart to the cheese festival, built around tastings straight from the region's own frantoiani.
