Held every year on the final evening of the Festa di San Cristoforo, Giuggianello's patron saint celebration — historically known as 'la festa te lu milune,' the melon feast. Free watermelon slices are handed out in the town square to the rhythm of live pizzica music, in a comune of just over 1,100 residents, the least populated in the whole province of Lecce.
